Deletions in Sandboxes Not Appearing Under "Changes"
If you delete metadata in a fresh sandbox where the metadata has never been modified, the deletion will not show under "Changes." This behavior is a known limitation in Salesforce source tracking.
Workaround: Before deleting the metadata, make a small modification to it. This ensures the deletion is properly tracked and can be synced or deployed via Hutte.
Sandboxes Occasionally Stuck During Creation or Refresh
During creation or refresh, Sandboxes typically transition through several statuses, eventually becoming Active. However, in rare cases, Sandboxes may get "stuck" in a status like "Activating" or revert to a "Stopped" status. Unfortunately, this issue is beyond Hutte's control. To resolve it, contact Salesforce Support through help.salesforce.com, providing the Id of the affected Sandbox, which you can find in the Hutte UI
Known Limitations in “Source Tracking” (Change Tracking)
Some metadata changes, such as changes to "Org-Wide Defaults" (Sharing Settings), are not yet supported by Salesforce’s source tracking. As a workaround, you can use Hutte’s “All components” browser on the “Pull Changes” screen to fetch metadata with recent changes that haven’t been tracked.
Detailed information on the availability of Source Tracking for different metadata types can be found here.
