There are two different ways to delete one of your existing Scratch Orgs.

From the list view

  1. In your Scratch Org project’s main dashboard, you’ll see a list of all your existing Scratch Orgs. </aside>

  1. Choose the Scratch Org you’d like to delete from the list view. </aside>

  1. Click on the arrow button on the right-hand side of its row. This will open a drop-down menu. </aside>

  1. Click “Delete”. This will open a confirmation dialogue window. </aside>

  1. Click “Confirm” to delete the Scratch Org. </aside>

From the detail view

Alternatively, you can delete a Scratch Org’s from inside its detail view (which you can access by clicking on the Scratch Org’s name in the list view).

  1. Click on the arrow button next to the “Deploy” button. This will open a drop-down menu. </aside>

  1. Click “Delete”. This will open a confirmation dialogue window. </aside>

  1. Click “Confirm” to delete the Scratch Org. </aside>

Deleting a Scratch Org is permanent, so be sure you’ve completed and/or saved all the work you’ve done in it before you delete it!
